Who knew I had to drive to Port Huron to have the BEST birria tacos in the state!! True authentic mexican food, I was raised in south Texas and this is HANDS DOWN my favorite.

I have been a fan of Maggie's since she was selling food out of her house. 1 bite of anything she takes will spoil your tatste buds and keep your mouth constantly wanting more!!! She literally has the best food ever!! I have been everywhere from detroit all the way up and some in between and nothing EVER beats her!!

Stopped in to give this place a try—and I’m so glad I did. Not only was it the best meal I’ve had in Port Huron, but it’s now one of my top dining experiences ever. I was genuinely surprised at how good everything was. I ordered the Bistec Ranchero Tacos (x2) and the Walking Flautas. The Flautas came out first and were absolutely delicious, but it was the green sauce they came with that really took them to the next level. Then came the main meals for my wife and me. The beans were perfect, and the tacos? Unlike anything I’ve ever had—in the absolute best way. This meal fed both the belly and the soul. We can’t wait to bring our family and friends back to this hidden gem.

As a Mexican from Houston, I’ve been looking for a good spot for the longest time. I had the birria taco plate and my expectations were blown out of the water. Without a doubt the best I’ve had in Port Huron by a WIDE margin. This food would hold its own even down in Texas.

Absolutely THE best, most authentic Mexican food that I've had north of the Texas/Mexico border. I had just given up on finding good Mexican food in this area when I stumbled on Maggie's. She and her husband were so friendly. I love that the menu is fresh and new weekly. 100% recommend. I will be frequenting Maggie's for sure.

If you’re wanting excellent, authentic and delicious Mexican cuisine. Maggie’s Mexican restaurant in Port Huron will be a the spot for you! Her heart goes into making every dish. Her recipes are passed down from hey grandmother and her love for cooking shows in her meals.

I found Maggie’s through word of mouth and finally went last night. The food is authentic, delicious, made from scratch and worth every cent. The service was absolutely impeccable and I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!!

It doesn't get any better or more authentic than Maggie's! There is not a place that even compares to her Birria Tacos. If you want real Tacos and not over priced fast food then this is the place to go.Try the real hot sauce and dipping sauce with them...Addicting!
